To Fry

I disagree. I don't fell the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. If you have the courage to take someones else life, then your life should be taken. For example. If someone killed one your loved ones you would want the same fate for them. I think some people uses the death penalty as closer from those who took their love one.I believe the death penalty is the only way the government can deal with those people. The government waste millions of dollars of useless things so funding execution is something that is useful to American people.

I do feel he has a point in what he said because some people do have a problem with what he said. Nobody else called the white presidents a liar like that. I believe this was done because he is black and not white. With all this said we are still being discriminated because of the color of our skin. I feel what Kanye West did was right because Beyonce should have won the award instead of Taylor Swift even though he was a little drunk. They shouldn't question his first amendment right because even though he did the wrong thing, he can do that if he want. I think they are questioning his first amendment. This is one sided for Taylor Swift because once again Kanye West did something that white people found offensive. Like when he said George Bush dont like black people.

Obama

Obamas speech to the student of thee U.S. was to encourage student to stay and school and be responsible towards your own education. Also to have goals set in life to be successful towards anything. I do believe that it could be reached because some students may feel that with someone like the president of the united states motivating them, then anything is possible. I do think this is a monumental moment because not all presidents make speeches motivating students that a good education is one of the most important things in life. I did not get anything from thew speech because i know that a good education is important and being in school is the road to success. I think it did change some of the students view on education because they may feel if the president took time to speak about it, than their must be some importance in education. Some students may feel that President Obama is speaking directly to them and this is the only support they need.

In John Locke's writing he states the rights he believe people should have. Which were naturals rights.Rights inherent in human beings that were not depedent on governments. He believe that persons in a state of nature would willingy come together to for a state. Which is similar to a social contract.Locke also argued for the consent of the governed and limited governmentthe sole purpose of government was to protect natural rights. Locke social contract was that the people were going to come together if these things were done.

The United States Constitution is the ultimate law for us. It contains the Bill of Rights which gives us rights that cannot be taken away. It gives us the framework of the government.It defines the three branches of government (legislatice, executive, and judicial). Also the constitution is still being used to this day.
